16 oz frozen cheese tortellini - cooked
1 T. safflower oil or corn oil
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
1 1/4 c. frozen baby peas
Salt to taste
1 1/4 c. heavy cream
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan or Romano cheese to taste

Heat the safflower oil in a skillet. Add the bacon and cook over high heat for 3 minutes or until the bacon is crisp-cooked, stirring occasionally. Cook the peas in a small saucepan of boiling salted water for 2 minutes or until tender: drain. Add the bacon, peas, cream nutmeg, salt & pepper to the tortellini. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes or until warm. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve
