2 c old fashioned oats
4 c milk
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup dried cherries
1 large apple, unpeeled and grated

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º Coat 3 qt casserole with cooking spray
In bowl, combine ingredients, transfer to baking dish, sprinkle top with additional almonds.
Bake uncovered for 45 min. Serve hot with milk.

Variations: Omit almonds, almond flavoring and cherries. Add 1tbsp cinnamon, 1/2 c raisins and 1/2 c peanuts.
Or: Come up with your own wonderful additions.
