1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon juice
12 soda crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, water, cream of tartar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for 15 minutes, cool, and add 1 tsp. lemon juice. Take 12 soda crackers, break into 4 pieces each. Put into unbaked pastry shell. Pour syrup over crackers and dot with butter. Put on top crust and bake in 400 degree oven for 35 minutes.
