Personal Notes:
Marge is remembering this as the Lenten Friday night meal at Grandma and Grandpa's home. There is no written recipe and she is going by memory. Since Grandma made her own sauerkraut, we're sure hers didn't come from a can. Bob grew up on it and loved it. It's an acquired taste.

Jeanne said Mom told her Grandma made sauerkraut every Saturday for the week. She and Aggie would beg her not to. It smelled up the house and was embarrassing when their boyfriends would come by.
