1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Ginger
2 Cup Flour (2 Tbsp Sugar for sprinkling)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and grease cookie sheet
Melt butter and transfer to a medium bowl
Beat in molasses and 1 Cup of sugar. Beat egg then add to the bowl. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. then add the wet mixture. Stir until combined. Use hands to form a 1 1/2 inch balls of dough. Roll them in the extra sugar.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until firm to touch. Cool on a rack.
