1 3-ounce package cherry gelatin (or cranberry gelatin)

½ cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup. Add enough water to make ½ cup. Dissolve gelatin and sugar in hot water. Add reserved syrup-water mixture and lemon juice. Chill in a bowl until partially set.

Add crushed pineapple and remaining ingredients. Pour into a five-cup ring mold lightly greased with Pam or olive oil; chill overnight. Unmold. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

This is a very tasty gelatin salad and goes well with a chicken or turkey dish.
