Cornbread: 1 C. Autry self-rising cornmeal, 1 C. self-rising flour, 1 C. milk, 1 egg, 1/4 c. veg. oil. Mix all together.

Broth (homemade chicken or turkey, can even used canned), chopped celery and onions, sage, poultry seasoning, butter, optional: 3 chopped up hard boiled eggs, chopped turkey or chicken meat, or giblets

You want to make the cornbread the day or night before. Pre-heat oven to 450º. In a round baking pan add some veg oil enough to coat the bottom. Place pan in oven to warm the oil. Pour the cornbread mixture over the warmed oil and bake 20 min. Let cool overnight and crumble. To prepare your dressing you need to saute some celery and onions in a little butter till browned. Add your sage and poultry seasoning to taste. Pour over cornmeal and mix in. Add broth enough to make it soupy. Add in your eggs and meat and bake at 350 º in a 13x8 pan for 30-45 min till browned on top.
