1/4 c. cooked and crumbled bacon
3 T. dehydrated onion flakes, or substitute 1 small chopped onion
1 lb. frozen whole green beans
1/2 c. hottest tap water
1/2 tsp. granular chicken bouillon, or 1 bouillon cube

Directions:
Directions:
Place the bacon and onion in the crock of a slow cooker.
Add the green beans, but don't stir.
Mix the water and the bouillon; pour over the beans.
Cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3 hours.
Stir before serving

I use turkey bacon--it's healthier, and I think it tastes better. I also think using the real onion helps. I also just use fresh green beans with the ends cut off--not frozen. This recipe is so good!!!!
