Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3-1/4 to 3-3/4 c. flour
1 pkg. quick rise yeast
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1 egg

1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
2 tbsp. soft butter
2 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. IN large mixing bowl, combine 1-1/2 cups flour, yeast, 1/4 cup sugar, and salt; mix well. In saucepan, heat milk, water, and 1/4 cup butter until warm. Add to flour mixture and stir. Add egg, blend at low speed until moistened, then beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic (5 to 8 mins). Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top of dough ball. Cover; let rise in warm place until dough has doubled in size (about 1 hour).
Prepare filling: Combine brown sugar, 2 tbsp. sugar, and cinnamon; set aside.
Once dough has risen, punch it down and place on a lightly floured surface. Roll into 15 x 2 x 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Spread with softened butter. Sprinkle filling and pecans (if desired) over dough. Starting with the shorter side of dough, roll up tightly. Pinch edge to seal. Cut into 12 slices. Best way to cut is by using sewing thread; loop it around the roll and crisscross to slice. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Pour 2 tbsp. milk in pan, then place rolls into pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until almost doubled in size (about 30 minutes). Bake at 375º for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from head and let cool. Frost if desired.
