1 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 3/4 c. butter 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 3/4 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla (or lemon) Topping: cinnamon chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar,flour,butter,baking and salt till crumbly. Take out 1/2 c. of mixture and reserve. To the remainder, mix in the eggs, milk and flavoring, beating until light. Pour in a lightly greased tube pan. Cover with the remainder 1/2 c. of crumbs and sprinkle with cinnamon and handful or 2 of chopped nuts. Bake in a 350* oven for about 1 hour.
