1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white syrup
3 eggs, beaten
3 T. butter
1 c. chopped pecans
1 t. vanilla-pinch of salt

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake approx. 45 min. at 350 degrees.

This is my all time favorite pecan pie recipe.
We get fresh pecans and they make really good pies. I would chop the nuts up real good and they are easier to chew especially for older folks.
If you are making a large pie just add an extra egg or 2 and maybe some extra syrup. Yummy!!
