1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. milk
1 egg

3/4 c. chopped nuts or chocolate chips, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting. Stir dry ingredients together; add sugar and rolled oats. Mix in oil, milk, and egg thoroughly. Add nuts. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough about 2” apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes.

Yield: About 3 dozen cookies.
