Ingredients:  
Cucumbers, large white onions, large bell peppers, salt, cider vinegar, sugar, turmeric, mustard seed, and cloves.

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and slice very thin 25 to 30 medium sized cucumbers
Chop and mix with above 8 large white onions and 2 large bell peppers. Add and let stand 3 hours ½ cup of salt (one half cup)

Combine in Dutch oven
5 cup cider vinegar
5 cups or 2 ½ lb sugar
1 teaspoon turmeric
2 tablespoon mustard seed
½ teaspoon cloves (optional)
Bring to a boil on high heat.
Add drained cucumber mixture to boiling vinegar.

Heat thoroughly but, do not boil.
Pack in sterilized jars and seal at once.
