1 Ib hamburger
1 onion diced
4 stalks celery diced
1 large can of stewed tomatoes
4 potatoes diced
2 carrots diced
3 cans beef broth with one can water
1/2 cup frozen corn or cut up zucchini
2 - 4 tbsp of pearled barley

Brown & drain hamburger under water to reduce grease. Put all ingredients except the last 2 in pot and simmer for 40 minutes, then add barley & corn or zucchini for the last 20 minutes

I got this recipe from Gisele, it is now my favorite soup. You can substitute chicken for hamburger and add chicken stock for beef stock.
