Ingredients:
Ingredients:
48 tea cookies (Classic Maria)
1 cup walnuts
2 sticks of butter (room temperature)
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon of whisky (optional)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
3 tablespoons of coconut
3 tablespoons of cacao
3 tablespoons of icing sugar
1/4 cup of icing sugar (to prevent the succes from sticking to the aluminium foil)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Break each cookie in 4 pieces, cut the walnuts in 4 pieces and in a large bowl combine both. Set aside.

2. In a mixer, beat egg, vanilla, whisky and
lemon zest and add all the remaining ingredients.

3. Combine the egg mixture to the cookies and walnuts. Make sure it’s evenly spread (for best results use your hands).

4. Sprinkle some icing sugar on aluminum foil paper and make the mixture into a loaf-like shape. Make it tight.

5. Sprinkle again icing sugar and cover well. Keep in freezer for 2 hours (my mom and Teta prefer keeping it overnight).

6. When you are ready to serve take the succes out 5 min before.

7. Place the succes on a serving platter and sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.

This is a recipe from Malda's Teta.
