5 chicken breasts
Salt and ground pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion
1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp honey
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 lb. dates, pitts removed, and halved lengthwise
juice of one lemon
1/2 tsp curry powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.

2. Heat oil over med-high heat, brown chicken on both sides in batches. Remove chicken and set aside. Add onion to pan and cook over med. heat until soft, about 10 minutes. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, and stock to onion in pan, and bring to a boil.

3. Add chicken to pan, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

4. Add dates, lemon juice, and curry powder, cook 5-10 minutes or untill thickend slightly.

5. Serve chicken with some of the sauce and dates over rice.
