Ingredients:  
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/4 cup half and half

Sift or mix together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add eggs and half & half. Stir together. Do NOT use mixer. Chill dough. Roll on floured board. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400° for 6-8 minutes.

4 tablespoons butter
1 pound powdered sugar
1/2 - 3/4 teaspoon orange extract
Half and half

Cream egg and butter. Add powdered sugar and enough half & half to spreading consistency. Add orange flavoring. Spread on cool cookies.
