1 cup oleo
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
4 ½ cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons lemon extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream, mixing after each addition until smooth. Blend in flavoring. Wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight or until firm enough to roll. Roll on floured board to ¼ inch thickness Cut and place on un-greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with additional sugar and bake at 375 degrees about 12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
