"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I originally typed this recipe exactly as it was in Meme and Loretta's cookbook. There were no directions for the temperature of the oven or baking time. I do not know the amount of nuts or Nestles. Joseph and Gene made this recipe and furnished me with the amount of chips and pecans to use, plus the baking time and oven temperature.
