1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 or more bananas - mashed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well in order given and pour into loaf pan. Topping: 2 T. butter, 1/2 c. brown sugar, cinnamon to taste. Mix until you have a crumble - sprinkle on top, bake 1 hour @ 350°.

I like to triple this recipe and freeze. I use old bananas I have frozen. Take bananas out of freezer about an hour before you need them. This recipe can also be used for apple bread.
