Directions:
Soften 4 tbsp. of yeast in 1/2 c. warm water. Add to egg mixture of eggs, salt and sugar. Then melt crisco in warm milk and add that. Add approx 6 c. flour to make soft dough. Let rise in warm place 1 hr. Divide dough into 6 equal balls. Roll each into a circle, spread with melted butter and cut into 8 even pie-shaped wedges (pizza cutter works well). Roll in thirds beginning with wide end. Place on greased baking sheet and let rise again. Bake at 400º for 10-12 min (or less...watch them carefully). Makes 48 rolls. Easy to half recipe to fill just one baking sheet (24 rolls).

Personal Notes:
Adam's lifelong friend Jon Fotheringham made these with me last Thanksgiving from a recipe his Grandma used. They are some of the best rolls I have ever had...worth the work!
