2 qts. popped corn or 10 cups
1 1/3 cups pecans (or mixed nuts)
2/3 cups almonds
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 cup white syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Mix popped corn in large bowl. Combine sugar, butter & syrup in a 1 1/2 qt. saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly. Boil, stir occasionally 10 – 15 minutes or until mixture turns a light caramel color (spins a thread). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Pour over popped corn and nuts, mix to coat well. Spread to dry on greased cookie sheet to dry. Break apart; store in tightly covered container.

(You can use mixed nuts.)

Aunt Mitzi gave me this recipe back in 1986. She said she obtained it from a Karo syrup jar.
