24 saltine crackers
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
12 oz. Chocolate chips
Ground nuts (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9 x 13" pan with heavy-duty foil. Fill bottom with 24 saltines crackers.

Boil 2 sticks margarine & 1 cup packed brown sugar for 3 minutes.

Pour over crackers and bake at 350º for 5 minutes.

Remove from oven and pour 12 oz. Chocolate chips over top. Let stand until chips melt. Spread chocolate and refrigerate until firm.

Break or cut into pieces. Remove foil.
