1/2 cup butter
2 tsp. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
6 oz. package chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream 1/2 cup butter until soft. Add 2 teaspoons heavy cream, 1/2 tsp.
lemon juice and 1 tsp. vanilla. Gradually add 1 lb. powdered sugar,
mixing well after each addition.

Shape into "eggs" about 2 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. Chill.

Melt 6 oz. package chocolate chips in a double boiler with 1 tablespoon
butter and 1 tablespoon water, stirring constantly. Roll eggs in
chocolate. Place on wax paper and refrigerate until set.

Living overseas, it wasn't always possible to get things for children for Easter, so I found this recipe on a Vanilla Box, when we lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 1976

It is great and tastes really good too.
