Put through food chopper twice:

1 lb. pitted dates
1/2 lb. walnut meats
3 egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla



Directions:
Directions:
Shape into 50 small balls. Beat 3 egg whites until stiff. Then add sugar and vanilla. With teaspoon, roll date balls in meringue. Put on a buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 250º for 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container or freeze, if desired.
