2 sticks margarine room temperature
2 cups brown sugar
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 eggs
2 tbsp sherry flavoring
1/2 cup milk
1 lb each candied pineapple, cherries, raisins and dates
7 cups nuts chopped fine

cream butter and sugar
add all other ingredients
drop by spoon onto greased cookie sheets
bake at 300º 20-30 minutes until golden brown

Always keep all egg shells from eggs used in a recipe until the dish is completely cooked, especially cakes, keeps cake from falling.
