3 c flour (level & full)
3 c sugar
2 T baking powder
3 c milk
1/2 lb Margarine (2 sticks)
2 quarts of peaches (get the 1lb 13oz can)

Directions:
Directions:
mix dry ingredients thoroughly
add 3 c of milk to dry ingredients (mix)
Melt 2 sticks of margarine in the pan you are going to cook the cobbler in.
Pour batter on top of melted margarine
Open Peach cans & pick peaches out of juice & lay on top of batter.
Optional-Cinnamon Topping
1 1/4 c sugar
2 T Cinnamon
Mix these together & sprinkle on top of peaches
Bake 350 degrees until light brown.

This recipe can be done in a Dutch oven over a camp fire. Great for scout outings, it has won first place.
