10 c. Mr. Dell’s frozen hash browns (or another brand of frozen shredded hash browns, 32 oz./2 lb. pkg.)
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz. sour cream (1 1/2 c.)
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped green onions (I use less.)
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. crushed corn flakes
2 T. butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour 1/4 c. melted margarine into a 9x13” baking dish. Add 5 c. of frozen hash browns. Mix soup, sour cream, milk and green onions in a separate bowl. Pour half of the mixture over hash browns. Sprinkle 1 c. grated cheese on top. Add remainder of hash browns and soup mixture on top. Sprinkle on remaining cheese; then cover with crushed corn flakes. Drizzle 2 T. melted margarine on top. Bake for 1 hour. Do not overcook.
Microwave: Cook 16-20 minutes, turning dish 1/4 turn four times during cooking.
