Ingredients:
Ingredients:
15 c. sweet corn (do not scrape cob; approximately 27 ears)
3/4 c. sugar
1/8 c. canning salt
5 c. ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse ears of sweet corn in cold water. Cut corn off cob with sharp knife. Mix sugar, canning salt and ice water together in a LARGE bowl. Add the 15 c. of sweet corn. Stir. Pack in freezer Zip bags and freeze immediately. (We usually put 3 c. of mixture in each quart Ziploc.)

When you prepare it for the table, remember it is already seasoned. Thaw the sweet corn and then cook on stovetop or in microwave for
5-10 minutes. (Add more water, if needed, when cooking on stovetop to prevent the corn from sticking. I rarely have to do this.)
