1 1/2 pkg of cream cheese (12 oz) softened
1 can of sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated canned milk)
1/3 cup of lemon juice
1 tsp of vanilla
1 can of cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and1 tsp of vanilla.
When thoroughly mixed add the lemon juice and beat on high for 1 minute;stop and scrape the mixing bowl sides and bottom and then mix on high for another 45 seconds...
spoon the mixture into the graham cracker crust;cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. (longer is OK)
When ready to serve spoon the pie filling on top.

This is very rich, I learned to make it when I was in my teens. It is a good recipe for the inexperienced....very tasty.
