1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained but save the juice for dressing
2 (11 oz) cans mandarin oranges
1 can pears, drained and chopped
3 Kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
2 large apples, unpeeled and chopped
1 cup roasted pecans
Dressing
Add to drained pineapple juice 1/2 cup sugar mixed with 3 tbsp. flour
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Bring pineapple juice and sugar and flour mixture to a boil. Add egg lightly beaten, be sure to temper the egg first with a little of the hot juice, or you might end up with scrambled eggs.
Cook until thick and then cool. Pour over fruit and mix.

You can use any combination o fruit, as long as you use the pineapple. I often add grapes and cherries. The only fruit that isn't good is melons; they are too soft
