9 cups Crispix cereal
2 cups peanuts
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 bag M & M Plain
1 bag M & M Peanut
Directions:
Directions:
Combine cereal and peanuts in large roasting pan. In small saucepan ever medium heat, heat brown sugar, butter and corn syrup until boiling, stirring. Without stirring, boil for 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Bake for 1 hour in 250 degree even, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes, then add both bags of M & M's, stirring to mix. Continue to stir 2 more times after each 15 minute interval.
