1 clove garlic
6 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 (6oz) halibut fillets, basa or 4 small tuna steaks

Directions:

Mix garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice & parsley. Place fish in shallow glass dish or resealable bag. Pour marinade over fish. Seal & place in refrigerator for 1 hour, turning occasionally. Preheat barbecue grill on high, lightly oil grate. Set 4 inches above heat. Remove fish from marinate. Grill 5 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily with fork.

Note: Use the rest of the marinade to baste fish lightly while cooking.

This recipe can also be used to marinade shrimp and can be placed on skewers to barbecue. The shrimp will cook faster, probably about 2 mins per side until they turn opaque. We tried once with the shrimp and it was better than eating in a restaurant.
