3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 stick butter
1/3 cup milk
TOPPING:
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 cup roasted & chopped pecans
3 Tbl. flour
1 stick melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Using mixer, blend the mashed sweet potatoes with sugar, eggs, butter and milk. Pour into casserole dish. Mix brown sugar, pecans, flour and butter all together and spread on top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes.

This is served at every holiday meal. I remember Ms. Irene giving me this recipe to fix for Christmas after Lewis and I had been married several years! Until then, she would only allow me to bring bread!!! When you'd ask what could you bring she or Aunt Ta would hand you the recipe!
