4 quarts fresh corn , cut off cob
1 Quart water
3/4 cup sugar
2 T. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil gently all ingredients together for 10 minutes. Stirring bottom of pot frequently as it will burn. Cool. Do not drain. Pack into freezer containers or ladle into freezer bags . Freeze.

This is Clara Pugsley's recipe and freezes well for over a year. This is our favorite way to save corn from the garden.
