chopped onion
tomato paste
whipping cream or milk
red wine
salt & pepper
Italian seasonings
frozen peas
2 slices ham, cut in small pieces
optional: sliced mushrooms, chopped black olives
cooked pasta
grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onions and (if desired) mushrooms in olive oil. Add tomato paste, milk and red wine, to taste. Season with salt & pepper and Italian seasonings. Add ham and peas. Let sit for at least 15 minutes to blend flavors. Heat thoroughly. Serve over your cooked pasta of choice. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
