Ingredients:

Cream together:
1C white sugar
1C brown sugar
1C shortening

Then add the following and mix well:
2 eggs
1t vanilla
1t salt
1t baking soda
1/2t baking powder

Slowly add:
1-1/2C flour
2-1/2C oatmeal
1/2C to 1C raisins

Make 2" balls and bake on a greased baking sheet at 350º for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Can freeze the balls and then cook at a later date. Make certain you unfreeze completely before baking.
