1--cup of sugar
1 Egg
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of Buttermilk
1-tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking Soda
1--tsp. vanilla
3/4-tsp. Lemon Extract
2--cups of flour, plus 1--tablespoon


Directions:

Mix together all ingredients.
Bake at 375 degrees, about 10 minutes, until golden brown. -----Sprinkle with sugar, or cool and frost.
