1/2 c. soft shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 egg
2 - 3 c. flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/3 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Mix all ingredients together. Roll out thick on lightly floured surface. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake on cookie sheet 12-15 min.
