4 eggs beaten until thick
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
1 can of pumpkin (2 cups)
2/3 cups water
1 cup Mazola oil
3-1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon each cinnamon-nutmeg-cloves

Mix ingredients and add sugar gradually as you mix. Bake at 325º for 75 minutes. Makes 3 loaves 9" x 5" x 3".

Although the real recipe calls for real pumpkin, the canned pumpkin is simpler to make and is about the same flavor. A slice of this slathered in butter is best served warm. Each slice makes a great snack too.
