Personal Notes:
I asked Dan if there were any recipes he would like to see added to the Poe family cookbook; if there were any foods that came to his mind when thinking of old family times. He smiled and said quickly "Butter Cake!"
I know a lot of family would gather about every Sunday evening in Paula and Walt's house/yard. After Dan and I were married it was still a common thing to do. We would usually have "finger food" like pizza (homemade, of course)...or tacos...or butter cakes. Great memories.
