1 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. water that has 1 egg white in it.

Blend the crisco, vanilla, and water/eggwhite together. Slowly add in the powdered sugar. After a minute or two, stop mixing to check and see if peaks are forming, if they are, it is done. If not, add additional powdered sugar and blend. Check for the peaks, continue if necessary. Add any food coloring desired.

I loved this as a kid. This was the frosting used for all of my birthday cakes and Christmas cookies as a child. My mom would take the left over frosting and let me have a frosting sandwich made with graham crackers.
