Topping: 8oz package of cream cheese
1 beaten egg
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 4oz package of chocolate chips

Bottom: Sift together
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
ADD
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

For the topping: In small bowl beat this first four ingredients together and then stir in the chocolate chips. Set aside.

For the bottoms: In separate bowl sift together the first 5 ingredients then add the water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat well.

For these cookies you can use the mini cupcake liners but over the years I found it much easier to make without the liners.

If you are not using the liners make sure you grease the cupcake tins. Fill the mini cupcake tins with Bottom mixture until 1/2 full. Then drop 1/2 tsp. of the first mixture on top.

Bake at 350º for about 20 min.
