2 lbs. potatoes (about 6 medium)
1/4 c. finely chopped onions
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cut potatoes into thin slices, about 4 cups. In a greased 2 qt. casserole dish, arrange potatoes in 4 layers, sprinkling each of the first 3 layers with 1 tbsp. onion, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, dash of pepper and dotting each with 1 tbsp. butter. Sprinkle top with remaining onion, salt, pepper and dot with remaining butter. Heat milk and pour over potatoes. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 60-70 minutes.
