Memories: The Culbertson girls- Sue and Perk.

Back in high school, John Hughes was (and still is) one of our best friends. He had two really cute shirts that we were always telling him that we wanted to borrow. One particular weekend, a group from school was going on a hayride to the Valley skating rink. We told John we needed those shirts not really expecting him to agree. Anyway, early afternoon on that Saturday, who showed up with shirts in his hands but our dear buddy John. We were excited and had a great time showing off our “John” shirts that night. He had walked all the way to Cranes Nest and back just to loan us “the shirts off his back.” True friendship. Thanks, John, and how are things in your yard?

Does anyone know who it was that threw apples onto the roof of Sevier Meade’s (Fred’s dad) house? Ask Richard Eakin to tell you that one.

Isn't it funny that best friends can do anything or nothing and have the best time just being together?
