Cake Mix:
3 cup unsifted flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 cup corn oil
2 c sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cup chopped apple (or little more, leave skin on)
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins

Frosting Mix:
1 stick butter
1/4 c evaporated milk
1 c brown sugar

Preset oven to 325

Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and corn oil. Set aside. Then combine sugar, eggs, vanilla. Mix both together. Fold in apples, nuts, raisins.

Bake in floured 10" tube pan at 325บ for 1 hour & 15 minutes. Invert when slightly cool.

Frosting mix:
Mix all ingredient and cook 3 minutes after sugar dissolves.

Pour over cake when hot.

Store in airtight container. (Can slice apple and put in the middle of cake to keep it moist).บบบบบ

A friend of mind gave me this recipe and it is the best apple cake I have ever tasted. Almost like Apple bread-hardy, moist and dense.
