2 Pkgs. Ore-Ida frozen Hash Browns thawed (at least 30 oz. each)
1 Cup Half and Half (no substitutes)
2 Sticks Butter or margarine
1/4 Tsp Salt
Shredded Cheese or Parmesan Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter and half and half until butter is melted. Do Not Boil
Grease a 11X13 pan and spread the potatoes in pan.
Pour the half and half and butter mixture over the potatoes and mix with a fork.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese or Parmesan cheese.
Bake in a 350º oven until crispy on top. At lease 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Serves 10 to 12 people.

These potatoes can be prepared the day before. I have served these in a 6qt. roaster using 6 packages of potatoes, 3 cups 1/2 and 1/2 and 6 sticks of butter or margarine. Great for Church potlucks or a large family dinner.
