chicken pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
garlic powder
pepper
kitchen bouquet
1 bag frozen okra
1/4 c flour
salt
a bay leaf
cooking oil

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and dry chicken. Season with salt & garlic powder. Put in baking dish & brown in oven at 350º uncovered for about 1 hour.

Saute' onion in a little oil. Add flour, stirring constantly. Cook a few minutes. Add okra and cook down. Add hot water, chicken pieces and drippings from pan. Add bay leaf. Cook until chicken is tender. Adjust seasonings. Add kitchen bouquet for desired color.
