Onion
Egg

Vegetable oil

1. Grate potatoes and onion together; drain liquid, then press liquid out with paper towels. Add egg, salt, and enough flour to thicken.

2. Have grease hot in skillet. Pour into hot grease, turning once.

From Grandma Bucholtz. No measurements, but kinda go by measurements on side of Bisquick box, or Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix box for a guide. HAVE to use white potatoes, which I've seen at the Polish deli up by Donna's, in Chicago. I've seen them once in awhile at regular grocery stores. They could order them for you.
Grandma's were thin, tender, and crispy on the edges...yum.
