6 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup self-rising flour
2 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 stick margarine, melted
1 can Bakers Angel flake coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and sugar together. Beat all ingredients together and pour into 2 greased 9" glass pie plates. Bake at 325º abut 40 minutes or until golden brown.
It makes its own crust! Slice when cool.

I got this recipe from a widow lady named Juanita Lawson who lived across the street from us on Princeton Drive in Austin. She would bake these pies and share one with us. On Aug 21, 1971, she gave me her recipe.
